GK76A front discs question

Post by Karen-Ann »

Hi hunnys, could anyone supply me with any information regarding refurbishment of my front disc's? I get a very loud 'ticking'/ 'chattering' noise from my front brake disc's when i apply the front brake, I'v been told the rivets are loose and need replacing. Is there any places that can resolve the loose rivets or do I have to shell out silly amounts of money purchasing new disc's?......Also, is there any other model disc's that will fit?

Many thanks for any replys, Karen-Ann xx

Hi,
The discs will need to be replaced as the movement is due to the holes becoming oval, usually in the softer ally carrier. Im told that the later RGV250 91/95 discs are the same at 300mm diameter. Ebay item no.160371826682.

TOO many R1/996 chop ups. You got just the right amount of new/old.
