I put dunlops on mine last summer - and they are great - stick to the road like glue. Did a track day with them around Mallory - couldn't believe that they made so much difference to the way the bike handled. The Dunlops are specifically designed for the 400.

Can't say whether they are better, just know the Dunlops were a vast improvement as the Bridgestones I had on were for a CBR600 and they don't get enough heat in them from the 400 to get the best performance.
Dunlops were a good price when I bought them - think they were about £170

Would be interesting to compare them. The Bridgestones are also designed for 400s.

Yep BT090's are great :) I've used them a couple of times and feel confident with them.

If at all possible get the BT003 RS. GREAT TIRE. Three stage compound and if you do any trackdays you will be very pleased.
