Headrace Bearings

Post by DoktorMandrake »

Did my a little search before posting as I was sure this would've been covered but couldn't find too much about 'em.

Basically, my headraces are shot. Can feel the knocking over even slight bumps in the road (errr, white lines? lol) and pot holes? Damn. It judders to hell. So can I get tapered roller bearings for her? And if so, where' the best place to buy 'em? What grease do I need to pack 'em with?

Done my own and friend's HR bearings before, so know the procedure pretty much, just wondering if there's anything specific to the VFR or any wisdom that can be offered?

Was gonna grab these... thoughts?

Thanks people!
