Price of a tricked up NC30

Post by Micro Monkey » Sat Jan 16, 2010 11:34 pm

Am going to be recieving an NC30 shortly fitted with quite a few goodies of which several i will be keeping for the rvf400. I have thought about breaking the rest of the bike to make more money, but to be honest am not sure i could do it as it's too nice so may try to sell it on.

Its an nc30 fitted with

Mercury Full Twin Stack System with Carbon Cans,
Tyga Full Road Body Kit Painted In Early RC211v Colours
Brembo Goldline Brakes
Brembo Master Cylinder
Prolite Disks
CRG Levers,
Tyga Rearsets
Billet Clutch Housing with Clear Window
HRC Rear Brake Reservoir
Braided Hoses F&R
Quick Release Fuel Cap
WP Fully Adjustable Remote Rear Shock (I may keep)
RVF Rear Wheel
Other Bits & Pieces fitted to it, barends etc

What would someone expect to pay for a bike with this fitted. It's not mint as it has a scrape on the front nose but should not cost that much to repair, Otherwise excellent condition. I think one of the nicer tyga'd bikes. Do you think asking 2250 is too optimistic.

Yeah a little, although ive seen some tyga'd bikes go for good money. Try the bike trader, most newcomers to bikes start there and the tyga'd nc's appeal to most as their cheap to run + they look good. Well not my cup of tea but you have to admit they do a good job of making a bike look more modern if thats what you want.

If i were you, i would remove the tyga fairing and sell it seperate, then with the money get some original fairings put them on and sell it like that! you would make 2250 easily i reckon!! Especailly with summer looming!!

I am not really looking to make a profit, i just want to move it on as quickly as possible, as i borrowed some money to pay for it and they want it back soonish, so could not really wait until summer to sell it.I already have an rvf and yzf so I would probably let it go for between 2000 and 2100 with the WP shock (I have a maxton anyway). I probably have got a month to sell it on, or consider breaking it. pgm, if i did decide to break it, i would be selling the mercury as i have the same system already.

What kind of prices would you expect to pay for these parts 2nd hand. I have a rough idea but just want to see what others think.
