Wiring in nc29 HRC cdi
Ive cross checked the wiring from the standard loom against a hrc one, the cables into the plug look to be the same colours(apart from the obvious ones not needed on the hrc one)
Is it a straight swop?
Chris

If all else fails and nobody rushes to tell you, give GF a ring.

you have to move one of the ignition pick up wires from memory acros one space to get it to fire up.i pushed mine out with a tiny allen key.worked a treat.if you have both loos to hand its obvious one isnt in the same place if you take a look at where they are in the plug.

Re: Wiring in nc29 HRC cdi
Ahh all sorted now, need my eyes testing i think!
I spoke with GF about the wiring in of this and now im a little concerned that now it allows such high revs im gonna blow the engine up. Im not the most careful rider when on track, maybe one of the programmable cdi units might be a better choice? hrc map and adjustable rev limiter all in one.

You'll be fine Chris, I've bounced mine off the limiter a fair few times and it hasnt gone pop......yet. Most of the time you'll change up way early cos it sounds like you're going into orbit!

Mine runs out of puff a wee bit before 14,800. From memory I'm normally looking for another gear in and around 14,000, maybe slightly sooner.
