I have an article in a magazine about that day somewhere... foggy said the bike was good but the footpegs were too low! :D I think that was their 5th race of the day or something, i'll find it out.royster81 wrote:an RGV in 4th ..... not impressed with that..... we'll have to remind them of foggy and whitham in cadwell ....
I like the RGV's, cracking bike.. spesh for a 250, goes like stink. Shame the picture they choose for the bike was one of the older engines.

VJ23A SP

Identical torque to the NC24/30 but 67hp

Dry clutch and carbs that have airpressure sensors in them for the ram-air system.. nice bit of kit.
Oh and 134KG dry weight :D

That's when derestricted (co$tly)... they only produced 40hp for the Jap market standard.Neosophist wrote: VJ23A SPThats more like it

there is a bit of pride in all things british made when it comes to the british media. if you watch top gear you would think the disco was an excellent 4x4. i guess if they were that good then the UN would have them

Oh yeah, I remember seeing derestricion kits for around ¥130,000 that replace the ignition and exhaust system...DataRacer wrote:That's when derestricted (co$tly)... they only produced 40hp for the Jap market standard.Neosophist wrote: VJ23A SPThats more like it

True!
My most wanted bike in that top 10 is a Street Triple, being eyeing them off for a while now.
