Farewell to my Bike
Not sure I should put this up yet, but many of you have already cottoned on to the fact I will be dismantling my own bike at the end of the month (No parts will be removed prior to the weekend of the 21st January as my bike will be have a little send off at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics dyno day in Northampton). I am going to have a go at enduro instead.
I've basically come to the conclusion that road riding isn't my best option at the moment as I don't have the self restraint for it (I appreciate I could turn it into a tack or race bike but it simply wouldn't see enough use to warrant keeping it for that purpose. I will put up a proper advert in the for sale section in a week or two, all the parts will be available, and all parts are in excellent condition, afterall lets not forget that this bike took 3 years to build all in (don't worry it has been used and enjoyed greatly - not just by myself, my mates have all had their fun on it too) in which time 4 Rvfs were stripped for parts for the bike as well as 4 or 5 nc30s, there were also items purchased for the bike on an individual basis based on rarity or condition.
Basic spec
Ducati 996 front end complete, Rvf suspension linkages mated to late spec ride height adjustable rebuilt faulkener 875lb sprung Rs250 shock, Rick Oliver 750 hub conversion and wheel. Brembo M/cs front and rear, Galfer 320mm braking wave discs, wavey rear disc, recent pads all round, recent braided lines all round, Tyga meter and fairing stays, carbon fibre larger airbox, battery box and modified subfame, Harris R1 rearsets with c/f heel plates, fuel filler cap, Sp1 can hanger. Carbon fibre nws hugger, 1 off c/f plate hanger, C/f vented front guard, oberon, mpl, K+N filter. Tyga suzuka fairing, Mito seat unit, solo seat cowl, ducati led rearlight, led flasher unit, led indicators, good engine with engine armour, new Honda clutch, stainless allen bolts throughout, Ethos half system with db killer. Cbr600rr dash with heavily modified loom, plus lots of other things.

Re: Farewell to my Bike
paul, been a long time admirer of this bike through your various posts over the years a lot of money thought and hard work gone into bringing a nineties bike into the 21st century all very tastefully done shame that you have decided to break it but if that gets you the most return on your endevour then good luck selling. without doubt there will be plenty of purchasers awaiting this bike being stripped , never been much of a fan of the tyga bodywork myself on a bike but with the mito seat unit it certainly works a treat . would be interested in the rs shock if its not been promised to anyone
dont want to seem vulturistic but you've to get in quick on here
let me know by pm when/or if its available . dave

Paul, sad to see such nice (different) NC30 to be dismantled...best of luck.
PS: shouldn't this be moved to the For Sale section?
