CB400SF Version R Headlight bulb

Post by chmod-uk »

Hi, just noticed that the headlight bulb on my Version R is slightly different than a normal H4. It's a 70/80 without the metal plate in the filament and the three protruding tabs on the outside are slightly wider than standard H4. Does anyone know where i could get one, or know what the exact fitment type is? I can bodge a standard H4 in but the light pattern that it puts out seems a bit odd and dim.
My bulb is on the right.
