I don't know of anyone who's managed it. Nearest I've seen is a VFR750F RC36 with USD's and RC30 bodywork.

Re: VFR750 engine into NC30 ?
spoke to a guy who was selling one in mcn years ago and its a massive job.lots more than any inline,no room and servicing is a engine drop every time.took lots of time and money and then he looked at a tl 1000 lump and realised that would have been a lot easier, but i aint too sure about the injectors on that one plus the airbox.never seen one done since then.
dont see the point of sv 650's myself which i recall hearing about.no point doing big jobs for small gains.why not go for the 800 v4 then try getting the supercharger kit thats made for it and graft that on!piece of piss

The SV is a peach of an engine and good for 126bhp in the right hands (although very expensive to get it there), 72bhp as pretty much standard which is about what you can get for spending a lot on the NC. The downside is that you'd probably spend more on getting the SV engine than you would from tuning the NC.firebeast wrote:spoke to a guy who was selling one in mcn years ago and its a massive job.lots more than any inline,no room and servicing is a engine drop every time.took lots of time and money and then he looked at a tl 1000 lump and realised that would have been a lot easier, but i aint too sure about the injectors on that one plus the airbox.never seen one done since then.

However I personally think it should stay V4 and IMO just as easy to make your own frame.
Take a VFR800 engine, a CBR600RR swingarm and add the supercharger if you want more power...

Re: VFR750 engine into NC30 ?
A friend bought this 750 NC30 a while ago, and has has just finished it and MOTd.
He may have some detail and more engine pictures, but he did not build it, so won't have all the answers, but may still be in contact with the previous owner/builder.
If you are interested, I will pm you his e mail contact.
Dave.
