Happened to me tonight too. Where can you get a switchgear, is it specific nc30 part?

I couldn't find any on ebay, I'm taking it apart today to see if I can fix it.

There is another issue with the relay mod: will the regulator/rectifier be able to take the increased load?

Did you try Red Baron? Just asking. I'm going out there later this afternoon to pick up some parts, I'll ask if they have NC30 switch gear.

I was there today but I couldn't find one in the used lot, they said something about ordering one but I forgot to ask the price. Can you please ask them about the price?

Thanks,
Chris

Yeah, I had luck at RB either. They said left-hand-side switch gear for the NC30 is hard to find. I didn't see your post in time to ask the price but I'd assume expensive ... most of their stuff is. I will ask around tho.

The UK / Japanese bikes use the same generator. (350watts) so the potential output is the same

The 35/60 watts stil output the same on high beam (120 watts) as the 55/60 H4's do, so I don't think you'll be over-loading the reg/reg on low beam (110 was as oppsed to 70 watts) as it it still less than High Beam

31600MR8601 is the partnumber of the EU bike Reg/Rec

31600-KY2-702
31600-KY2-703
31600-MV4-000

Are the 3 types of Reg/Rec's fitted on Japanese bikes.

I use a R6 reg/rec as it is more reliable than all of the above.

Any of the above reg's should be fine though.
