ARRRRGGGGGG
Booked a trackday (my first of the year). Went to the track bike fired up fine and went through tech. I shut it off in the tech shed and could not get it to run the rest of the day. I pulled plugs and checked all the other stuff. Brought my battery tender and left it alone for a while still not joy. Voltmeter reading on the battery was over 13. I did have weak spark when I pulled one of the rear plugs but I had spark. I undid my ignition switch bypass and put that back to stock. The only thing I did not do was put the stock airbox back on. I got the tyga larger one. Well, I got some digging to do to sort this out I just hate paying for a track day and sitting in the pits.

Re: ARRRRGGGGGG
was it running long in the tech shed ?
my only thought would be since it was started and not ridden maybe you fouled the plugs hence no spark, but no doubt it's going to be one of those silly things that ruins a big day...
agree with marks ,lets see it finished then !! and paying for a track and not riding sucks the beef big style....

Re: ARRRRGGGGGG
Hey there,
If its any help a friend of mine had a similar problem from his bike when he left it for a while, turned out to be the petrol had "gone off".
You tried brand new fuel?
Although, I can imagine that it has been dry stored whilst its not been used and I'm infact teaching a grandma to suck eggs, so the speak. lol
Regards,
Ben

Re: ARRRRGGGGGG
The fuel was partly from last fall but I had put stabil in and filled the tank with fresh. I have to get some spare plugs before the next track day. I had run the bike a number of times this spring. I ran it for a number of minutes a week before the track day to flush out the coolant and replace it with water wetter. It is just one of those character building moments. Also have to remember to bring the ohmmeter next time. I did borrow one from another buddy.
On the bright side a chap had come over to the US for the Summer from Aussieland where he races NC30's. He was a brilliantly nice guy and worked with me on the bike. He and his buddy from New Zealand tried to help me bump start the bugger . He so wanted to see me with it on the track. I will get some pictures up when I have a moment.
My Pit was a few hundred feet from the tech shed and I had warmed it up. On the way over it stalled but started up again. It only failed when I rolled out of the tech shed post inspection and would never start again. I pulled every plug and cleaned them but no joy!!!

Re: ARRRRGGGGGG
Now for the seriously ridiculous. At the track I had with me spare wheels and tires, spare pads, spare engine cases, spare clip-ons, spare footpegs and levers, spare reg/rec, spare f(*&(*&ing swingarm. And two full boxes of other misc parts I probably would NOT need. but no f(*&(*ing spare plugs. Yes, I think I learned a lesson here.
