Looks just like a ThunderAce

Looks like a bit of works gone into it - I'd loose the grabrail off the back though.
Back light is a 4DX style, not sure if the forks are SP or not

Did he change the engine - I notice a liquid clutch

Ten points to Mark :D

It the engine was bored and tinkered with and came from the thunderace next to it.

it makes 157 ish bhp, R1 GSXR zx10 blade baiting power !!!

In a 400 frame, the fairing fits fine too.

Nice sleeper :D

You have to shave the frame to get the carbs and the clutch in. The engine is heavy too, the headraces won't take the beating

Rock on that man. The lower steering head bearings on the 3TJ, which take most of the weight, are the same size as the 4XV R1 so unless you are living on the back wheel 24/7 I bet they'd be ok. Might be worth fitting a longer swinger tho, to help out scrubbing the front tyre now and again
