It looks like a 3TJ part so it might not be available in the US.

Too long, too wide and with a totally different linkage arrangement. Other than it's a sterling idea!rockTJ wrote:Searching that bearing part number up on ebay also comes up with 04-08 R1 swingarm bearings.........

Re: Fzr400 swingarm bearing question
The last ones I got came from Fowlers in Bristol and cost around £40 each. I'd imagine postage to the US would be around £10 or so if that helps with working out costs and stuff.Dap019 wrote:well i hope those bearings will fit. its a gamble but i bought em anyway. now i just need to find a new 3tj chain guide/guard in the US/ prob gonna hav to get them overseas again. shipping costs SUCK. but i will figure out something, i really hope those bearing fit. would make life easier. lol thanks bro.

There are various fitments inc. 04/08 YZF.
Just because a bearing is fitted to a part it does not equate that the part will fit.
A good Yamaha dealer in any country should be able to obtain any part if supplied with a part number given that the part is still available.
Often,in Europe, we use a firm called CMSL from Holland.
They specialise in buying old stocks from dealers that are NLA from the manufacturer and reselling.
Shipping is quite expensive but you would get a reduction of 20% on the total as USA pays no V.A.T.
