Re: advice spark plugs and chain sprocket set
I just use NGK CR8 EK it's a copper core plug but with twin electrodes although the standard CR8E is fine. The FZR isn't to hard on it's plugs, my Bimota will lunch them in no time.
I just go to BandC Express for chain and sprokets. I have a 520 conversion O'ring chain.

i run 15/43, which amounts to about the same and use renthol rear but JT front sprocket, just be aware the renthol front has a smaller boss so you may need to space it, which is why i ended up with a JT front cos it fit's spot on
as for the chain i got a 520 pitch gold O ring chain (120 links) from dirt bike express on the bay for £54 delivered, and just cut it down from 120 to 103 links simples

Re: advice spark plugs and chain sprocket set
It's true about the front sprocket - I had my chain fitted because it needed to be done and I couldn't find a riveter, they changed the supplied sprocket for a different one.

Any one tried the "IRIDIUM" spark plugs for the FZR 3TJ.

Re: advice spark plugs and chain sprocket set
I have done but there's no desernable difference between them and standard plugs. I use the twin electrode NGK in both the FZR and the Bimota ... the Bimota used to eat irridium plugs but it's fine on the twin electrode type
