13k hestiation

Post by MaxHitZ » Sat Sep 06, 2014 12:45 am

bought this bike last week viewtopic.php?f=4&t=47905, looks really good, handles nice, smooth operator :peace:

Looking for some advice. In 3rd, nice piece of road speeding up and slowing down, wants to blow its noes at 13k, clears it and pulls to redline. No big deal certainly not hindering performance, but would be nicer if it was clean all the way.

thoughts?

Id start with getting the carbs off to check settings and give it a clean, make a note of the jet sizes and settings then report back. I wouldn't settle for upshifting at 12500rpm, thats like buying a ice cream and not eating it.

Let it sing!
15500 rpm then change up.
