NC35 Swingarm Needle Bearing Install Depth

Post by RoninZX-10R » Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:24 am

Hi folks,
I'm in the process of installing new swingarm bearings into my NC35 and noticed in the NC30 workshop manual (I don't have one for the 35) it states that the needle bearing is to be pressed into the left side 4mm in from the edge of the swingarm.

Now, I know the 30 and 35 swingarms differ (I was sent the wrong bearings by mistake...thanks CMSNL Parts Micro Fiche  ) so I was hoping someone on here would know if the NC35 needle bearing gets installed to the same depth???

Thanks in advance

Surely someone must have replaced bearings in an NC35 swingarm???

Sorry to be pushy but I'l getting them pressed in today, so if I don't get an answer I'm assuming from the workshop diagram that I'll be able to measure the depth of the LHS swingarm pivot, measure the needle bearing, and if the depth is 4mm more than the bearing I'd say it would be safe to assume it's the same as the NC30? How does that sound?
