I dont like using compound on things that are exposed to the elements.

these thermal pads are good, they wont wash / be cleaned away and help fill the gap of the reg/reg

Good tip. I tend to use silicon grease. Probably slightly less effective than the proper stuff but still better than nothing.

you can order 5 syringes full from ebay (comes from chine and will have to wait a fortnight)
1 syringe will do one reg/rec :D
its really good but just dont get it on your fingers is really stickey and stains everything it contacts
