Thermal Conductive Paste

Post by Man_Named_Dave » Fri Apr 22, 2011 2:29 pm

I googled this and there's tons of stuff out there.

Anyone got a particular brand that they recommend for mounting the Reg/Rec?

I dont like using compound on things that are exposed to the elements.

these thermal pads are good, they wont wash / be cleaned away and help fill the gap of the reg/reg

Good tip. I tend to use silicon grease. Probably slightly less effective than the proper stuff but still better than nothing.

i just use CPU thermal grease its white,
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5x-Thermal-Grease ... 1e62cb0a18

you can order 5 syringes full from ebay (comes from chine and will have to wait a fortnight)
1 syringe will do one reg/rec :D

its really good but just dont get it on your fingers is really stickey and stains everything it contacts
