Re: fuel tap positions
From memory;
Theres a marker on the fairing just above the tap, labelled fuel.
As long as your tap is standard, just line up the positions (ON,RES,OFF) labelled on the tap to the marker on the fairing.
Simples

Re: fuel tap positions
the tap has a long lever and a shorter lever, the shorter one pointed toward 12oclock is normal fule flow, the longer one pointed toward 12oclock is on reserve

Isn't it a bit stupid???Sligeach wrote:the tap has a long lever and a shorter lever, the shorter one pointed toward 12oclock is normal fule flow, the longer one pointed toward 12oclock is on reserve
Because if you need to put the tap on "res" when you're riding, you have to pass through "off", no?

Isn't it a proble at 100 mph on a track?

It sould be but the carbs have a fuel supply in them so a small disruption in fuel form the tank is on worries.neurosyndrome wrote:Isn't it a bit stupid???Sligeach wrote:the tap has a long lever and a shorter lever, the shorter one pointed toward 12oclock is normal fule flow, the longer one pointed toward 12oclock is on reserve

try turning your fuel off next time you are out - it takes a good few seconds to start to pass out...
