I had a chat with one of the electrical engineers at work, and he said that it operated like a short across the battery, i am not sure what he ment by this, i just said okay :?
I have just got back from a good ride out, and i have adjuted the actuator and it changes gear perfectly. The home porting i have done has worked a treat, i need to gear it down quite a bit as it is revving out in every gear and just doesn't want to stop pulling.

He probably means as a load, but everything that uses power on the bike is a load. Maybe he was drunk. lol
