definite hacksaw job. id cut away the speedo AND lights. id then get 2 LEDs with 12V resistors and make my own "idiot lights" Red= oil, green= neutral, mount a plate where the old speedo was, fit idiot lights there + any other gadgets you may need.
**if you dont know how to make your own idiot lights, email me as i have built/tested these for several people. you pay for parts/my time/postage and i'll even give you wiring instructions for a NC23/29 .not normally over £10-15.

PS if your going to hack a dash.. id buy a 2nd one off ebay/GF to hack. that way the original dash can be fitted back later on if need be.
