Hi guys sorry its been a while, haven't had internet at my gaff for a while whilst i moved house so...yeah!
anyone tell me what mpg i can expect on a vfr at motorway speeds? i'm travelling from newcastle to epsom in surrey and it'll be around 300 miles, maybe slightly more.
MPG at say, 65/70mph?

From full tank to flicking onto reserve when she starts to splutter:
180km commuting (half motorway, half residential)
210km only on the motorway
160km in the weekends in the countryside

sounds good, just i have something important to do and was hoping to see some motorway figures like that. 210km sounds good to me. hopefully 60 quid should cover a round trip then :)

Here what I have found:
Giving it some, on a good road: 38mpg.
Taking it normal, the occasional bit of fun: 43mpg.
Motorway riding at steady speeds: 49mpg.
£60 should be plenty if your frugal..

I use mine mainly for getting backwards and forwards to work and get around the 50mpg mark, but that's lots of stop/starting and changing early (around 7k)
