I reckon it comes down to personal taste.

Personally I wouldn't spend £2500 on a VFR with Tyga fairings because after-market fairings are a very good way to hide a previous crash-damaged bike, but I probably would on a mint UK model.

If you can be certain the bike is good and genuine, and you feel £2500 is a fair price, then you'll probably be happy with it. Ultimately, "is it worth it?" is usually answered by "am I prepared to it?" if you see what I mean?

Strange that Al, so do I.

Cheers, Al. (...now there's another coincidence)

I think he knows what it's worth as at £2k it hasn't met the reserve. It does look like the best one I've EVER seen but it may just be the quality of the pictures compared to the blurred/dark rubbish that is often put up on adverts.

I think it's probably worth up to £2.5 but no more - after all its not original so not collectable and highly unlikely to go up in value. As soon as Repsol is replaced with the next sponsor (inevitable?) the bike will be worth considerably less.

Well within that price you can get a proper red/white/blue UK NC30 which WILL go up in value.

Just my opinion of course, so what do others think..?
