When you say miles to a tank, do you mean amount of miles you get before having to fill up, or how fast it should go? your title and description have confused me. Miles per tank your probably looking at 100-110 (this is what i used to get) now im getting about 90-100 miles a tank from my current setup. As for speed, I havent done a top speed run for some time but max you should be seeing is 120mph.

I got the feeling that mike was saying that the bike seems to be only doing 65 miles on a full tank but that he wasnt sure if the km's to miles speedo converter was working correctly because it doesnt seem to climb fast enough going over 70.
Mike, if thats the case, have you tried taking the speedo converter off and seeing how many km's you get to a tank? you could then compare the 2 readings. and.... thinking about it. have a look at speed per revs. if the bike does 60mph at 6000 revs it should be doing just under 100km's with the converter off.

I normally fill up around the 100 mile marker, re-set the trip every fill.... have gone 120 (without using reserve), that was a nerve racking moment when I got lost lol!
Guess it depends how you've been riding and work to an average.

i regularly struggle for 70 to reserve (10 litres ish) but recently on a long ride i managed 130 to the same amount, its all how you ride the bike, personally im either in town or flat out on country roads reving the tits off the bike
take it easy and you should see your fuel consumption go up

65miles to a tank with a bike running not too bad is way off, definately something wrong there.
i use to get roughly 100-120miles before going into reserve.which on the nc30 was 13litres with 2 litres reserve.
on the odd occasion i would get much less than the 100miles,80-90 if i was riding like a twat.
it definately sounds like the a problem with the trip but if it was anything to do with the converter it would be effecting the speedo itself aswell.
