Hello again peeps
Has anyone tried the exup replacement exhausts the ones they sell on ebay that claim to be performance exhausts that increase power and eliminate the need for the exup valve?

These are the ones

ello mate, I have a a brand new set of these for sale (I have a 1989 FZR400R), they don't fit the 3EN2 model but im pretty sure they will fit the 3EN1!
theyre proper light and seem to be pretty well made, certainly no yoshimura blingbling but better than rotten brown downpipes pushing 20years in age
give me an email on
the_rich@hotmail.co.uk if interested, im selling them for £100 as i just need rid of them (taking up space and im moving house)

would you still get the same amount of power out of them, obviousley you wont get the push as you do with the exup valve but would you still get the same acceleration and top end?

They fit a 3TJ - see the other post.
You'll loose some low and midrange and you should get the bike's mixture checked on a dyno as you'll make it weaker.
Vynce and Hanes did a race system I think

been told that 3TJ pipes will melt the bodywork on the 3EN1 or at least they do if you put 3EN1 on to a 3TJ
