Twisted triple clamp

Well f*ck-a-doodle-doo. Rebuild my forks and put them in the bike to find out it wasn't just the forks that got bent in my crash, it's the bloody triple clamp too.

You can see the lower yoke is the 'centre' of the twist.

Really not happy. If I can't find a replacement this week and get it in the bike by Friday, I won;t make the racing this coming weekend. And nothing else to race in till frign July!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.............................................................................................................. :dmyspt:

this may sound realy unproffesional, but have u tried loosenign all the bolts, getting someone to sit on the ground or whatever and twist it all into shap then tighten up all the bolts? i have the same problem but i can get them straight by tighteing them up with some application of force and pressure lol.

Tried it out of sheer desperation, and it didn't work.

Stimpy has come to my rescue, he's lending me a triple clamp while mine gets straightened.

im unsure how much just the triple clamps are to straighten on there own, wouldnt be much tho.
if you were in melbourne lloy,i could have it done for u...there should be some1 near by where u are that does it for sure...they can be saved!
from memory i paid $600 to have my frame, swingarm, forks, discs, tripleclamps straightened after an off last year..
congrats on the results and trophy greg
