Goodbye to the CB

No I haven't sold my CB. Unfortunately some numpty with a skip wagon managed to drop a big, solid piece of timber on to the M602 on Friday. A woman in a car following him, no she didn't get his number, hit the wood, punctured her front tyre and pulled up on the hard shoulder. She didn't have time to warn anyone before I arrived in a line of cars at the spot. I didn't see a thing until the car in front swerved hard to the left, I thought I'd missed it until i felt the impact. Apparently me and the bike did 3 somersaults after hitting the wood and I slammed on to my right side and slid for a bit on to the hard shoulder.
I've just got home after a spell in Hope Hospital A&E but I think the CB is dead, a lot of oil and specks of metal on my kit after sliding behind the bike. I'll contact the recovery company later. Not sure if I'll replace her or get the RVF on the road and use her to commute until I move to Shropshire.
