HRC Carb Kits (Finally!)

I`ve just blown all my pocket money for the next five years on lots of shiny new carburettor parts, so both types of HRC kits are now back on the menu for the forseeable future (I`ve had enough components made for 25 of each kit).
Economies of scale have come into play so I`ve dropped the prices by £15 to £80 for the NC30 kit and £130 for the full NC35 kit including bellmouths.
I also have the new RO road needles made now and available at £40 a set including adjusting shims - these should cure the NC30 midrange flat spot. They are untested as yet (until I have time to fit them to my own NC in place of the current FIs) but there`s a couple of half price sets on offer if anyone`s willing to help with field testing...

OK, Kenny -
Mail me at home with a reminder of your address and I`ll send a set over, though if you are running a radical race set up they might not do much for it...
Cheers,
Rick

Nothing radical. Just a healthy 433cc's. I stull run the airbox and haven't played with the ignition at all. I just would like to know if the transition from the needle to the jet is better with these. Plus if I can give you guys some concrete data that benefits others as well.

Sounds good to me - I`ll get you a set in the post ASAP.
The profile is a copy of some needles I had in my first NC30 back in the early `90s which are long out of production - they worked well in that bike so I`m hoping these will too (expensive shot in the dark if not...!)

Rick,
Needles got here last Thursday. Didn't have time before the race weekend to do testing. Heading over to the shop this weekend to see if we can get it done and post the results.

Ok, needles are in the bike as of Friday morning. As I was leaving to head to the race track for the weekend we only had limited time on Friday morning to get stuff done. I will head over there as soon as I can to pull the graphs from the dyno PC.
Now for the good news. We never had a significant flat spot but we did have several partial throttle opening lean spots. We cured some of them by going to a 140 pilot jet and that helped but the final spot at 9400 went from lean to soggy with the pilots. We dropped in the RO needles and the thicker of the 2 shims and improved hiccup considerably. I am going to swap out to the thinner shims this weekend as it was still a little soggy coming off the corner between 9400 and 9800.
Rick I am going to Paypal you the money for them this afternnon.

HI RICK, Im fairly new to this site.. i hear alot of good things about you, your NC30/35 parts list!!! WELL DONE!!!!
Could you please advise me on the shorter "Dog bone linkages" that you can supply me with.
my NC30 project came with the 17" rear wheel conversion, but i suspect that nothing has been done to restore the ride hight, which i hear maybe a problem... IS THIS TRUE!
Also i have just fitted a HAGON rear shock, but have done nothing as yet with the front forks, im interested in the HAGON springs you do, what else is needed to refresh front suspension...
I have already bought the HRC carb jetting kit, i wont be getting fitted until i have the bike mobile,, not long now! if your browsing the site, check out.. IM A NEWBIE TO THIS SITE!!! HI TO ALL,,
It should be in the new members list.
many thanks, moore
