I've now had 2 HRC CDI's blown on my RVF - bike is the usual race spec, RLR stage 3, MHP, NC30 Carbs etc.

Any ideas what could be causing it?

Incorrect tyre pressure?


Or, it could be worth checking the loom to make sure there arent any dodgy connections or breaks in the wires etc. Also, check the voltage regulator output and battery. It could be that the voltage regulator is on the way out and causing overcharging.
