oil leak

fitted new c+s kit took bike for mot and noticed oil dripping into bellypan on nearside from the sprocket cover area, when i replaced c+s i cleaned all the years of gunge old chainlube etc around the gearbox sprocket which i guess must have been hiding the leak to a certain extent havn't removed cover yet but suspect either clutch pushrod or gearchange shaft oil seal ordered new ones from wemoto can anyone advise as to what is involved in replacing them are old ones difficult to remove any tips etc would be mucho helpfull thanks

the LEAK might be old oil and cleaner mixed and thinned by the heat of engine or as you guess oil seal around gearshaft , not a big problem to change at all , just get a sharp bradawl, and remove old seal, get new seal, and a tube socket to match size of seal and tap gently home, just as you would a wheel bearing dust cover .... hope you go ok

got seals on the case tomorow, i know seals are small but had concerns about their willingness to come out after probably 18yrs in situ thanks .
