In the picture, the dangling one.

This is part of the T piece from the tank vent pipe, drops down the LHS of the airbox, into a T, then this end if free.

Cant remember where it goes, the airbox catch for when you overfill the tank has a hose on it already.

Where does it go.?

No, expansion bottle has one that is thinner

I have other pictures of the bike from the past, but i cant see where the hose went. Must of gone somewhere.

Sorry I was thinking it would be like the nc24. It go's there.
Its only an overflow/vent anyway, just make sure its pointed away from the rear wheel.

Added another picture,

It needs to go onto something, it was on something or i would of removed it when i rebuilt the bike ages ago.

It does not contain water, but fuel vapour from the tank.

Will pop the tank off and spend 20min looking before taking it out on a test run.

I think Spooky's right. It just dangles around near the side stand I believe.

its the breather. on the left near the front of the carbs its connected to a T piece, half goes under the airbox and actually hooks to the tank breather, the other half goes to the underside of the tank breather if i recall, and the lower bit exits in the bracket near the sidestand

Well, the T piece is next to the carbs, on the LHS.

I side of that goes up to the tank breather (thats on the top)

The other at the moment is routed into a place near the airbox to keep it out of the way whilst i took the bike out on a test ride post missfire.

I could smell fuel when i stopped, i had filled up earlier, so i thought the fuel vapour will be going down the pipe, too the T, then back up the hose as its higher, and thats what im smelling.

CRM, i did look at putting onto the underside of the tank, but thought that on top of the airbox, on the LHS there is that tray to catch something. I figured this must be that thats for, so left the hose off.

Your probably right, i probably did put it onto the underside of the tank. Ill look at the parts drawings again, see if i can get an idea of it all.

Ok, looking at the parts thing, doesnt really clear things up.

Unsure on the lengths of the pipes, but surely a little too short for this.

Back to the drawing board i think.
