Hi Folks
just had a bit of a shock

, Did a parts enquiry with Dave Silvers for the above mentioned gaskets/ O rings. Here's the reply:
The gaskets/o rings are only sold as part of the carb gasket sets, to order from Honda @ £16.25 per carb.
If you wish to order please quote estimate number 109040.
Prices exclude VAT @ 15% (if applicable) and postage
Thats £74.75 +P&P.............
VFRs are £5 for set of 4 + P&P
I know that carb diaphrams etc are in the kits but all I need are the float chamber gaskets.
Does anyone know where I can get just the aforementioned items?

hopefully cheaper

Regrettably you have to buy the kit. I asked Rick about this a long time ago and the answer was the same, buy the kit of a new set of carbs.

old topic, but freshly alive again.
today I had some flooding issues with spare NC35 carbs I have, it will need new float chamber / bowl gaskets. Are there any replacements on the market compared to the Honda genuine parts that shoot a small hole in my pocket?
I am not too fond of putting sort of silicone stuff on them to fix it for a while not knowing what it will do in later stage of use, it is either pattern ones of last option the genuine honda gaskets if 1st option is a no go.
I will send mail to RO too.
Thanks,
Jason

Unfortunately not. I just forked out over £80 for a full set. Rick O says it's the only way.

I received reply from Rick O. Looks like I need to order in from Honda. Patterns are in progress but not very soon.

You can quite safely use Hylomar Blue on float bowls. I've done it for customers in the past who could not afford OE prices and never had an issue.

Silicone sealant turns to jelly in great quantities when in contact with petrol, 3 Bond is the best sealant to use, but new seals even better.

The post states gaskets/o'rings if there are o'rings in the carbs i can get most sizes in Viton so could easily supply these.
Its the same with the GSXR the bowl gaskets are only available OE and being made of Viton cost a small fortune.

Thanks. I opt for new seal chamber gaskets (just ordered a set with RO). Not too fond of sealant (not any silicone as I mentioned wrong earlier this evening).
