Whilst poking around my bike, I noticed this

the carbs seem to have what looks like arerestricter plate in each port...

can anyone confirm if these are a restricting kit?

the bike struggles to get over 80, and seeing as I've got a full licence, I'm a bit miffed I've not noticed them until now.

cheers

That is most certainly a restrictor :D :D :D

You should easily notice the BHP improvement once they are all out!

that is restricted indeed.
Found out today that mine wasn't. I still have a restricted license till september.
But mine has 55 hp on the rear wheel. 8-)
I was hoping to gain 20 hp in september, but that is not going to happen. :(

restrictors now posted to someone else.

it's noticable they're gone - first gear reaches up to 40mph now, rather than topping out at 30mph.

And 60mph takes about 5 seconds, rather than about 8.

Not done any top speed runs yet but I'm pretty sure it will get into 3 figures.
