The nc30 has 32mm carbs so what if i put a set of 34mm carbs on it from the vfr750fg/fj that model was made at the same time as the nc30.
Will i gain anything over the standard carbs?

The nc30 carbs probably are bordering on too big for the standard 400, but rlr do bore them out to suit their mega-hp high flowing engines.

The 34mm carbs could probably be made to work fairly well, but fitting them would be a nightmare, they wouldn't line up with the intake ports at all.

The 750 34mm carbs are a similar design to the nc35 carbs (earlier vfr750 36mm carbs are similar to the nc30), pity there's none of these available in 32mm!
