This is a long shot, but if anyone has any photos of a 3EN2 showing where and how the wiring loom is fitted, I'd be very grateful. Even if you just have one part of the bike it would all help.

I've got the PDF manual which isn't bad but when it comes down to it, I've got a lot more spare connectors up front under the tank than I think I've got electric bits left to buy and fit! Plus, I'm not convinced that some of my components are off the EN2 (I think some may be 3TJ - such as the handle bar controls etc) so I may need to replace a few bits if confirmed as incorrect.

Anything showing the primary areas such as connection to the clock spider loom and handle bar controls

- connectors in the ignition coils area under the tank
- connectors around the back of the tank just in front of the battery
- connectors at the back of the subframe
- fitment location of what I can only assume is a ground connector near the battery

BTW: DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EN2 SPIDER LOOM FOR SALE? - I'm assuming it includes the bulb holders etc.

if you've got some info/description on what you've got left (colour, pin numbers, wire colour etc) we could play guess the connector!

Ok Taggy, you did ask for it. Here's the first round of guess the connector (it's mainly the stuff up front that's not clear).

I know which the headlight connectors are and I figure two of the larger blocks on the headlight loop connect to the left and right switch gear.

I don't think my switch gear is right though (at least not the left side stuff) as it's female and the headlight loom bit is female). I think the throttle switch gear is correct, but it's the opposite side of the frame to where the loom is. I guess it would reach, but I"m unsure if that's correct.

All info greatly appreciated.

On one of the images, I've got a picture of the positive, negative and assumed earth connectors near the battery. Only, I don't know which is the positive, negative and earth. I'm assuming the one to the starter motor is the positive? The one off the main loom with the parallel thinner wire and two white connecting blocks is the positive and the other is the earth and just bolts onto the frame anywhere that's convenient? It's image 26

Image 24, where the hell do all those spare connectors go!

I'm assuming 28 is rear indicator and break light?

Image 29/30, headlight, left and right switch gear, plus some others? If I'm fitting one single head light, can I just splice the two headlight blocks into one with out blowing anything up?

32, I suspect I may have 3TJ switchgear incorrectly fitted here?

25, side stand cut out switch? (my current side stand switch has a different connector though.

That's my best guesses so far.

ahhh! easy!! they're what you call wires they are, saw em once before a long time ago!

pic 25 blue and black is the switch i think, can check that tomorrow!!
pic 26, usually the covered terminal is the positive, but if they were both covered at some time and cut/replaced it could be the negative left covered .... useful arent I! i'lll have a look tomorrow!


i'll have a look at the 3tj and see if you have got a different switch gear or even wiring loom! i'll even take the lap top and compare the pics! most connectors are different in size and pins, so when you have all the extra loom bits, then they should be pretty obvious! have you had it running yet?
