Can someone tell me how to go about topping up the fork oil on a NC30, I was just about to have ago and then thought id better ask as I use the bike daily!

Is it a case of removing the top caps (adjusters) removing the springs, topping up and measuring the oil level (obviously with the forks compressed) or is there more to it?

Haynes chapter 6 says see chapter 1, chapter one says see chapter 6 :|

Why would you need to top up the oil? The oil level in your forks won't change unless you have a bad leak, and then you'll be looking to overhaul the folks totally.

To change the oil, you're best off removing the forks completely, as to check the oil level properly they need to be vertical. Disassembly/reassembly is pretty much as you describe, but loosen the fork top bolt while the fork is still in place, but undo the top clamp bolts first because they make the top bolt nearly impossible to undo while tight.
