Rear wheel 18" to 17" conversion NC23

Is it possible, has anyone done it? If so, what dimensions of tyre would you use? We'd only be doing it to have a better selection of tyres available.

use the rear wheel,disc, sprocket carrier and wheel spacers off the nc29.
straight swap.

your welcome...
note tho...on the nc23's caliper mount there are two little casting dimples on the inside...file these flush,sometimes the disc will catch on them,making the fitting of the wheel difficult

Scott, how did you get over the 1/2 inch drop in ride height? Different shock or dog bone replacement?

graeme france sorted me out years ago with his custom linkage set up to suit the 600 shock
it lifts the rear considerably
the little blight handles well enuff to scare big $$ bikes
the 23's are a real underdog

Hi, does the front wheel also go in as a straight swop for NC23, doing it just for looks really if I am gonna change the rear?
