Hi all,

I've finally found a place that i can get my NC30 dyno'd and set up correctly & it's only 20 mins away from my gaff. I've been quoted £120 for the dyno time. This includes all work that needs to done to the carbs to get the bike running correctly, changing needles etc... The guy that will be doing the work told me about all the mods that can be done to the NC30 carbs, i.e HRC replica, 2.5mm holes drilled & .5mm shims. He also told me that he has done a few NC30's & he got all his parts from Rick O, which can't be bad. So does this sound like a good price & how many horses should i expect from it. Currently got a std exhaust with a scorpion end can. I want to get this done as the is so lumpy at tick over & has a pretty bad flat spot at 5500 rpm, also it smells very rich when running.

Sounds like it could be a pretty good price as dyno runs usually cost between £15-£20 a time and you'll need a few of those to get it set up right.
Then there is the time taken to remove carbs and 'fiddle' with them, fit correct parts/needles or jets, then refit and run them on the dyno again.
Quite time intensive really!
If it was down this way I'd be interested too!!

Hi Kev,

cheers for the input. As far as I'm aware I've got the dyno for the best part of the day. The guy is gonna call me tonight to confirm a date. I will ask him then what his plans are for the bike & to make sure there is no hidden charges anywhere.

What have you had done to you bike? if its a standard system id be interested to see what the gain is, not sure if u shud set mine up now or not, i no im oinly gona get a system in the future which would mess it up again wouldnt it?
