Alright all you zorst experts, I want to know what sort of system this is on my spare bike.

It's loud and performs well, I think I'll get it high-temp coated soon to stop it deteriorating any further.

It's made of mild steel, any guesses? Cheers.

Stickshift, it's the mild steel half system made by Laser Jama Engineering (a dutch
exhaust company, they are located at Heinenoord, the Netherlands).... (did I hit jackpot?)

I have had similar system on my NC30 when I bought mine back in 2004...
it is mild steel (at times also known as "rust steel") with an open carbon canister (read: very very loud).

On your 2nd picture I see you have a different canister fitted on the inside diameter of
the y-piece. But the original Laser Jama canister with a yellow/red sticker "Carbo" is
slip-on and slips over the outer diameter of that same y-piece.

It currently has a carbon ethos can I just threw on whatever was lying around. It's a bit too loud for road use, might have to repack the muffler and see if it helps.

i think i have one of these laid up on my garage floor looking very sorry for itself,it's nice to know what it was before it rusted to pieces...
