Well picked up a new battery today and pluged it in to check the electrics, eveything works fine, but just a quick question, when i turned on the ignition the fan comes on straight away, is this right?

Its on an NC24, there are on fluids in it either yet but im just wondering if the switch in the rad has gone?

That isn't right.

There should be 1 black wire plugged into the fan switch on the left hand side of the rad. Unplug it and if the fan stops you have a problem with the switch.

If its been bridged to earth you might have cooling issues, these bikes run cool! Only on a hot day with constant idling in traffic will you get the fan on.

Thank you, think i need a need a new switch, when you unplug the switch the fan goes off so definate problem there.
