My NC30 project bike finished

A heavily road rashed ebay buy, let down repeatedly by the courier I collected it myself (600miles round trip), it's been several months in my workshop, stripped, straightened, repaired, repainted etc.
Bit of loving care (and minimal spend

) here's my new toy...
Apologies for posting again but it was hidden in the
original post and I didn't get much feedback. I love the colourscheme, the missus hates it. Who's right?
Should look good in the garage alongside the Golf (when it's finished)

for some reason i really like it, but i recon a black honda logo on the tank would break up the white a bit better

Yeah, I'm with you on that, there is a large amount of white in that area. I wanted a graphic for the area where the V4 graphic normally goes.
Either that or a black top to the tank, with a thin stripe to echo the lines on the front of the fairing.

It looks pretty clean but the curse of amking an NC30 look like a Golf is lost on me
Nice little Honda wing decal ont he tank and it will look much better.
It is a nice bike but pinstripes were naff by 1989 anyways

There is a decal on the tank, the camera didn't pick it up very well.
I wanted a nice simple budget paint job, that could be done quickly and easily by me. The stripes are only stickers.
Naff by 1989? Got the right era for the bike then!
As a reformed Honda hater and streetfighter builder it really goes against the grain to fit a fairing, Its all I can do at the mo to not kick the subframe high in the air and fit a set of renthals and twin spots!

lol - don't fit twin spots...
It is cool man - I'll bet it looks pretty pukka in the flesh and it is certainly nowhere near bad. Just not my cuppa char.
Some of the tyga bikes and anodised tat machines make my skin crawl...whereas this is kitsch
Are you gonna bring it to the greybike trackday?

To be honest, after 15 years of wanting an NC30, now I've got one, it ain't my cuppa either.
If I was 19 again and living out my Joey fantasies and could ignore the riding position and pain on the boring run to work every day (30 and 40 limits all the way) AND had spare Sundays to enjoy it properly - I'd love it.
As it is.....I don't.
