My 3TJ Hybrid finished, kind of...

Seems to be a run on 3TJ hybrids at the mo! This one is my take on the theme...

One crashed 3TJ, one crashed 4JH, one happy workshop (well garage!)

Spec:-
4JH engine, carbs & electrics
R6 rear shock
Modified 3TJ airbox, snorkel removed, carb bellmouth holes moved & carb rubbers modified
3HE exhaust system with flexible between downpipes and end can
Black bodywork to replace the missing top fairing and damaged lowers, black tank to be cleaned

She goes like stink! I'm not sure that the engine is standard, the carbs definitely are not. They have a blanked off air jet (like the dynojet kit), larger main jets and much shorter bellmouths for more top end. I'll get her on a dyno soon and see what she is kicking out.
As she is a special, she will never be finished, but there are some things that will be done soon, hopefully...
Rear wheel powdercoated black,
Exhaust link pipe fabricated to replace the flexible jobby,
Get the tank cleaned out and installed,
And finally an RGV front end, maxton modified forks, GSXR400 front wheel and 6 pot brake calipers.
There is something strange going on with the front end, but I'll just replace it all and solve the problem!!
Let's have a hybrid meetup this year, be good to compare notes.
Alex.
