how many nc30 owners on here still have the speed restriction fitted???????

and at what point does the restriction kick in on your's???????

according to the speedo on mine(ex-nc30),it was reading roughly 190-200kph before the ignition was cut.

according to the sat nav i was doing 116mph.

"NC30s manufactured for road use in Japan came equipped with an electronic speed restriction device in the speedometer that interferes with the bike's ignition when the speedometer reads approximately 180kph or higher".........taken from nc30 de-restriction page.

I still have the top speed limiter fitted....... but it cuts in at 180MPH

Yeah I still have it fitted, it kicks in at 180km/h (Jap legislation), give or take a few due to worn tyres etc.

This is probably an indicated 190+ on mine, the nc30 speedo is out at those speeds.

Mine is still limited ..... for the moment an also rounds up at 180 kph.
