lights:
japanese spec bulbs are 60/35w which means they run a relay for the full beam only.
uk spec bulbs are 60/55w meaning uk bikes run a relay for both dipped beam and full beam.
what this means is,if you have 60/35w bulbs fitted and no dipped beam relay then there is more chance of burning out the switch.to combat this most people fit the relay mod.
you will know if your bike has this mod simply by putting the dipped bea light on....if you hear a clicking sound then this is the relay..........
you will more than bertainly hear a clicking noise when you switch the lights to full beam, this is the full beam relay.
hope this helps

RLR do ram air kits, as do dynopro. can be a pig on a road bike but the top runners on the track use it

CHEERS WULLVFR
that explains my bike then
The bulbs are 60/35w.I dont have an actual on/off switch for the lights.the lights are on from start up and theres just a black cover where the switch should be .Looks like it already burnt out and the last owner done this mod to have them on all the time.
how would they have done this?
Whats the story with putting in stronger bulbs like xeons
