3EN2 Radiator Brackets, do they exist?
I've got a standard 3EN2 and a 3TJ race radiator. Until tonight, I through the standard radiator needed brackets to mount it, but on checking just now, it looks like the ears with the rubbers on them, just bolt on to the tabs that are already on the engine cradle frame arms. Is that right?
Or, is there a bracket that comes off these and then bolts to the rad mounting points?
- The 3TJ rad is the same, but taller, so it looks like I've just got to make some triangle plates from the existing mounts, to about 3" lower to accommodate the 3TJ option.... then shorten the hose between the lower rad outlet and the bikes water system.
Does this sound right. Just wanted some input/confirmation before bolting it up and filling it?
