having a nightmare at the moment and wanted to ask for a few suggestions.

Since coming off my VFR in September I am still trying to get my panels repaired for a decent price.

Now, there are about 3 panels which suffered damage, however a few others have marks on which I mareswell get done at the same time. I opted to get the whole bike done again.

Racepaint UK have quoted me £850+VAT to repair and paint the panels in the SP2 scheme which it currently is.

Dream Machine have quoted me £753.35 inc VAT to repair and paint the panels the same.

It was originally done by Dream Machines in early 2000, and the quality was great.

Should I spend that much money on it to get them looking good again? Is it too much?

Does anyone know any other places I could try??

were in the country are you mate? if your anywere near basingstoke my painter should be able to repair and respray for around £400

Well i can highly reccomend these guys (http://www.2-d-xtreme.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) base in Coningsby, Lincolnshire.

They did my Rothmans scheme and really did an amazing job of it. Maybe not the cheapest out there but i got a lot better service than the "were too busy to deal with you" attitude i got from Dream Machine, and the quality of the work is outstanding.

Cost of the job will depend on the amount of prep work required and the complexity of the paint job, but certainly worth a call or ride over one day if you are close enough.

Oh - and they might look as rough as a couple of vagrant badgers, but they really do know paint

Thats the problem Im having at the moment, nobody is really interested and seem to just be giving me a rough quote without going over each panel. Surely they should be working it out around the panels??

Im having one last try at Cordwells tomorrow - but after that, Ill try the above places..
