Hey everyone, help please bike will not run past 5000 rpm starts missing then dies.battery doesn't keep charge and has now failed fitted new battery ..still runs the same with new battery?

Strip and clean carbs.

Check charging system as per manual.

Does it have a speedo plugged in? Or anything not standard about the clocks? there is a 5.5k revs cut if the speedo is not connected.
