Picked up new bike today.

Can't find how to open passenger seat on 1990 gxsr 400 (76a)

can you help..

is there not a lock of some sort,at the sides of the pillion seat or at the front,directly behind the riders seat?

i don't have this bike bit in the pictures it looks similar to the design of the nc30 pillion seat

On the 76a the lock is down by the left rear indicator. The cable has a habit of snapping, but if you can't find the lock that's where it should be.

I had the same problem when I first got mine.

Many thanks sorted now lock under the seat as stated by rightside read indicator.
