well, ive decided to spruce up the front end, and since im generally happy with the power and feel i get from the standard fronts theres no need for an upgrade- but i am going to attempt to overhaul the calipers and possibly the master cylinder-
im not bad with a set of spanners, and am no stranger to fiddly bits (2 years fixing a little aprilia rs125)
but what i want to know is: how hard is it? hard enough to warrent taking to my local garage?
cheers guys!

If you know the difference between a spanner and a screw-driver you'll be fine mate.

definately worth doing yourself, save plenty cash and when you have done it once it will give you the confidence to do it again and again...........
the only downside will be bleeding the brakes after putting it all back together,it takes time and patience and bleeding at the m/c helps!!!!!

Or a syringe fron the bleed nipple (teehee) will do the trick.

that was my only concern-
ive bled brakes before, so i know the drill- but its always been the single caliper at the front-
is it a pig of a job to bleed the twin fronts on the NC30?

As wull said, once you done it once its easy. just make sure you got all the right tools before you start, vacume pumps come in handy as do piston removal tools

Get them off, split and cleaned first then worry about that later. It's not really that bad.
