im wanting to know how much you all think she is worth

to give me an idea when it comes to me selling her......if it ever happens

honda vfr400 nc30 r3n model registered 1994(jap)and here in 1997

roughly 44,000kms(27,000miles+) 1yr mot 1yr tax

she is not minted by any means,cosmetic damage is the downfall

bad bits:cosmetic damage to front fairing,mid fairing,small crack to the seat unit,and also on the underside the paint has flaked(50psize),small dent on tank which has cracked paint just....

good bit:d/b screen,renthal grips,new bar ends,new fairing stay,mini indicators,new front wheel bearings,new rear tyre(100miles max),new end can(not fitted)

in the last 5000miles bike has had new battery,reg/rec,alternator replaced,valve clearances done,carbs cleaned and balanced dyno'd @61.5bhp

it also has a rick oliver lower radiator,it did have a full ethos exhaust system but the end can was cut off(don't ask)it has a viper end can fitted at the moment but there is a new end can to go on
that's all i can think of the now........the pics are not the best but show most off the damage,i don't have a proper pic of the bike as it is now so i have put pics of it before with the black screen,pretty much how it looks the now except the db screen and grips......she does look quite good with the fairings on,just wish i had a pic as she is the now

Ok, well i'm not an expert at this but i'd say around £1100 but and i know you know this but with the state of the country you wont get all of it's value

no chance £1100, i paid £1000 for mine and that had no damage to fairing (only scratches etc) i recon £800 if you lucky and get soemone who wants a project

i think £1100 would be a bit optimistic

£800 does sound more realistic but i would never except as little as that for it,especially with the lower radiator which cost me £300,ethos exhaust system etc.

it's definately a no win situation........

i listed the bike on ebay earlier on in the year when it was in worse condition than now and it reached £700...........

get a used lower rad and a cut system for next to nothing, swap them over sell the bike for £800 and clean up and flog the rad and system (to me for cheep in exchange for this priceless idea ) may take a bit of effort but you will get ride of the bike and get what you want for it in total

deffo best option to sell whatever extras you've put on separatly as your never likely to get back what you invest on it by selling them with the bike.

im starting to think that may be the best way to go...........

i wonder how much can be made from breaking the bike but tbh probably no where near what i could get selling whole and it saves the hassle of stripping the bike down.

i suppose i could do a swap with the radiator for a original plus cash obviously and the same with the exhaust..............then punt the whole bike still complete and working with a full mot n tax
